Leleux Associated Brokers brings together around 25 stockbrokers, who decided, after the introduction of the laws of December 1990 and April 1995, to pool their expertise and resources in order to offer a personalised service to their clients, based on confidentiality, a close relationship and trust, as numerous generations of stockbrokers have done in the past. Although its expertise is rooted in tradition, Leleux Associated Brokers is nevertheless forward-looking and offers innovative products and services to its clients, such as the real-time processing of orders over the Internet.

Leleux Associated Brokers offers four investment services to its retail clients: transmission and execution of orders, selective investment advice, general investment advice and portfolio management. Alongside these activities it also provides investment services outsourced to it by institutional clients.

For each of these activities, Leleux Associated Brokers has put in place a state-of-the-art infrastructure, combining tradition and technology. The brokerage firm is also a member of the stock exchanges of numerous financial centres (Euronext, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, the Xetra, CBOE Europe) and has real-time access to a network of foreign correspondents on all the other stock exchanges worldwide (Nyse, Nasdaq, Amex, OTC BB, London Stock Exchange, Madrid, Milan, Geneva, etc.).

Leleux Associated Brokers is a public limited company incorporated under Belgian law. It was founded in 1928. Our firm, which has a capital of 3,075,000.00 EUR and net worth of 37.369.494,92 EUR (as of 31/12/2023), is authorised by the National Bank of Belgium to provide stockbroking services.

Its capital is owned by the firm’s stockbrokers. This independence enables our employees to provide objective and impartial investment advice and services.

Leleux Associated Brokers employs more than 130 people working in some thirty offices located throughout Belgium. The brokerage firm is managed by a Board of Directors, composed of 11 directors from the financial sector. The brokerage firm’s day-to-day management is entrusted to an Executive Committee, made up of 4 Executive Directors. An Audit and Risk Committee comprising 3 non-executive directors oversees the company's internal control system.

After graduating with an LLB law degree from the Catholic University of Louvain in 1982, Mrs Véronique Leleux completed her training alongside her father, Mr Jacques Leleux, stockbroker since 11 October 1948, and played a part in the company’s development and expansion. Since the sudden death of Mr Jacques Leleux in July 1991, she has been Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Leleux Associated Brokers SA. The first woman to sit as a member of the Société de la Bourse de Valeurs Mobilières de Bruxelles as a member of the Stock Exchange Commission since September 1992, Mrs Véronique Leleux chaired a number of professional bodies, including the Conseil d'Agrément et de Discipline des Agents de Change and the Association Belge des Membres de la Bourse [Belgian Association of Stock Exchange Members].

Mr Olivier Leleux graduated in 1994 with an honours degree in economics (his thesis dealt with the reform of the social security system in Belgium and alternative funding sources). In 1995, he passed with distinction a Master's degree in Economics, his dissertation dealing with the analysis of the Belgian economy from 1985 to 1995. The same year, he obtained a degree in political science, with a focus on international relations. After several internships with financial institutions, he became the youngest stockbroker in Belgium, being appointed the year he turned 21. A director of the company since July 1991, he initially looked after foreign markets and supervised the logistical aspects of the firm's development from the Brussels branch for which he was responsible. In June 1998, he oversaw the launch of Leleux Online, Belgium's first Internet stock market application, and was behind the December 2000 merger between J. Leleux & Cie, Union Belgian Brokers (UBB) and Delta BVBA, which together gave birth to Leleux Associated Brokers, Olivier Leleux, Chairman of the Management Committee, is in charge of the support line (including the support and infrastructure department, the IT development department, the logistics department and the human resources department) and the prudential line (including the inspection department, the management control department, the legal department and the management of independent functions).

Mrs Isabelle Leleux joined the stockbroking firm in 1988 having completed several work placements in Belgium and abroad. This experience enabled her to become one of the stockbroking firm’s first employees to use the Brussels stock exchange’s new Computer Aided Trading System (CATS) in 1990. In the same year she was appointed a stockbroker with the Brussels Stock Exchange. From 2001 to 2013, Isabelle Leleux acted as an executive director, since 2013 she sits on the Board of Directors as a non-executive director.

After having graduated with honours as a sales engineer from UCL, Mr Frédéric Dorsimont joined our team in January 2004 as Risk Manager. Drawing on his financial sector and project management experience, he was appointed management assistant in January 2008 and was responsible during two years for supervising, alongside Mr Olivier Leleux, the reorganisation of the brokerage firm’s back-offices. In March 2010, he was appointed executive director of the brokerage firm, with responsibility for the Securities Accounting, Dealing, and Cash Management Departments.

After her marriage, Mrs Lutgarde Leleux joined the brokerage firm, forming a close-knit team with her husband, Mr Jacques Leleux, and her mother-in-law, Mrs Armand Leleux. Over the years, she was a driving force within the ever-growing company in various roles, including as a trusted point of contact for our clientele in Soignies.

Mister Frédéric Liefferinckx

With a passion for finance, Mr. Frédéric Liefferinckx undertook a degree in Applied Economic Sciences at FUCAM in Mons, which he then complemented with a degree in Financial Management Sciences. In 1991, he joined a Belgian stockbroker as an account manager. In 2002, he joined the team of account managers at the Leuven branch of Leleux Associated Brokers. His career evolved when he became Head of the Financial Analysis Department in 2007, and was promoted in 2012 to Attaché to the Executive Board, in charge of new client services. In this role, he personally oversaw the roll-out of our new General Investment Advice service and its integration into the Portfolio Management department. In March 2013, he was appointed Executive Director of the brokerage company, where he oversees the activities of the Portfolio Management, Financial Analysis and Marketing & Communications departments. In addition, Mr Liefferinckx is responsible for managing outsourced services for financial institutions and services offered to institutional clients.

After having built up solid stock market experience since 1979 via numerous positions of responsibility and various mandates at a number of stockbroking firms (Bonnewyn, Van Hove), Mr Guy Boulanger Kanter joined the Leleux Associated Brokers SA management team in December 1992 in order to support it during a period of wide-reaching changes for Belgium’s financial sector. In 1994, he was appointed Director of Leleux Associated Brokers SA.

Mr Vincent Renwart joined our team in April 2005 in order to develop a new Remote Brokerage & Custody activity. He has worked in the financial sector since 1978, both in Belgium and abroad. He has acquired extensive expertise in stock market intermediation coupled with in-depth knowledge of trading, clearing and settlement-delivery systems thanks to the various positions of responsibility he has held with various brokerage firms and stock market and financial organisations. In July 2005, he was appointed Director of Leleux Associated Brokers SA.

Attracted by the world of finance, Mr Guy Bertrand embarked on his professional career in the banking sector in 1976 as an account officer at Banque Nagelmackers. He participated in numerous bank training programmes, including that of the Fonds Paritaire de Formation Professionnelle. In 1995, he joined the brokerage firm Union Belgian Brokers (U.B.B.) as a director and secretary general. Pursuing his career in the stock market sector, Mr Guy Bertrand also became a director of the Belgian Association of Stockbrokers (ABMB). Mr Guy Bertrand was one of the initiators of the merger in December 2000 between J. Leleux & Cie, Union Belgian Brokers (UBB) and Delta BVBA, which gave rise to Leleux Associated Brokers, and he joined our firm as secretary general. In March 2018, he was appointed Non Executive Director of Leleux Associated Brokers SA.

A member of the Brussels and Luxembourg Bars and holder of a Law degree from KUL and a Master’s in Company Law from KUL, courses complemented by several specialisations, particularly in European Law at the universities of Florence, London and Leiden, Mister Thibaut WilleMadam embarked on his career in 1997 with the Banking & Finance Department of the Clifford Chance firm in Luxembourg. Three years later, he joined the Corporate & Finance Department of NautaDutilh in Brussels, an experience that resulted in him representing the firm in New York between 2006 and 2009. From 2009, Thibaut WilleMadam worked in the Banking & Finance Department of NautaDutilh in Brussels, specialising in the financing of PPPs (Public-Private Partnerships). In 2019, he joined the Board of Directors at Leleux Associated Brokers as an independent Non-Executive Director. As such, he chairs the brokerage firm’s Audit and Risks Committee.

Mister Massimo Bencardino

Mr. Massimo Bencardino holds a degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Naples, a diploma in European Politics from the ULB and an additional Master's degree in Industrial and Technological Management, Economic and Management Sciences from the Solvay Brussels School. He worked for more than 16 years as a commercial at the Belgian subsidiary of an international bank. In 2013, he became the commercial director of said bank. His skills are complemented by project management skills in the field of compliance and risk management abilities. In 2021, Mr. Bencardino joined Leleux Associated Brokers as Executive Director and member of the Management Committee. He is thus in charge of the commercial line of the brokerage firm, which includes the management of the firm's network of 30 branches in the North and South of the country, as well as the Welcome Desk department.
